- a Double Concerto for Yangqin (Chinese Hammered Dulcimer) and Harp, commissioned for the VICO with the help of a grant from the Canada Council for the Arts. World Premiere
I Saw a Mountain (2002) by Joseph "Pepe" Danza
- a work based on Latin American sacred rhythms featuring Bandoneon (or Accordion), Quena, and Guitar, it was commissioned for the VICO by Robert Rensing, "to express the power of music to transcend argument, judgment and hatred, and unify peoples of different race, religion, and cultural background." World Premiere
